ACCU Staffing Services is a regional staffing company that matches job seekers with client companies. They serve various industries in the Greater Philadelphia area across a wide range of specialties with emphasis on manufacturing and administrative temporary and direct placement roles.
I was a one-person marketing department and supported the Corporate, Sales, and Operations teams across eight branch locations.
This is the third incarnation of the corporate website under my creative direction and the only version that I fully designed and developed. I built the site in Joomla! 3 for backend content management and created custom templates using a Bootstrap framework. The website featured a job board, custom forms that link back to various departments and an intranet login for internal communications. I took this project from start to finish including information architecture, UX/UI design, copywriting, front-end development, testing and maintenance after deployment.
The main feature of the website was the job board which I developed using a third-party Joomla! plugin. Since the company posted job listings from multiple branch locations, each office was assigned users to manage their own posts. I programmed the backend so that user response was filtered to the associated branch. Once the site was deployed, I was responsible for training all users and monitoring the job board to ensure communication standards were met.
Other dynamic features included a modal with an accordion list of all the branches and their contact information, forms for job orders and reporting requests, a recruiting events calendar, weekly posts marketing top talent, and download sections where both job seekers and hiring managers could easily access PDF files of frequently used documents.
This site was fully responsive across various media. For the mobile application, I used a plugin called Mobile Joomla! and set up responsive versions of the job board plugin.

This client catered to two markets: people who need help finding a job and companies who need help recruiting and hiring employees. As marketing director, one of my responsibilities was to creatively support marketing initiatives across various medium to target both these audiences. The samples below highlight creative from campaigns that focused on the latter in support of sales growth.

This project revived an old concept analogizing the company’s customer service platform to the elite “best in class” status of a thoroughbred racehorse. The brochure airs a grandiloquent tone to establish the company’s positioning as a regional staffing leader and is written like a short story to give prospective buyers a 360 view of the company’s capabilities juxtaposed in an unorthodox way. To give the piece a little more punch, we flooded the cover with a metallic ink on an uncoated stock then overprint with the brown to give it a unique, but subtle effect.
